coffee maker hash

can hash be made with a coffe maker like this, but putting the trim in then icecold water ice etc like bubble hash, any one tried this or seen it done?, id of thought when all the trichs have nestled at the bottom all you do is pour the water into something that the water can get through but the trichs cant, what type of material do i neeed?

That's called a french press. You put hot water and the coffee grounds in together then when you press that plunger down, the coffee gets forced to the top, while the used coffee grounds are pressed to the bottom. As for how you can use it to make hash, I have no idea. I guess the idea would be that the trim would act like the coffee grounds and get forced to the bottom, with trichs being small enough to fit through the holes and get carried up with the water. Even if it worked, you would still need to separate the trichs from the water. I would think the trim would have a tendency to clog the holes in the press though.

do a google search for french press. They can probably explain the process better. Then you can decide if it can be applied to making hash.
 
i think it can but i will have to stir small loads of trim at a time and keep refilling with ice, once all the residue is at the bottom my guess is to pour the water through something that will allow the watter through but hold the hash, anybody know what material i need?
 
im thinkin of having the trim on the top side of the mesh so i can stir and add ice, the thc is heavier than leaf matter so it will gather at the bottom
 
then i just remove the mesh via the handle removing all the leaf matter at same time, any 1 have thoughts on this ?still need to kno what material i need + rep
 
right ive run a trial using some mid grade leaf (nothing to frosty) and it is woriing fairly well thier is a thin layer of trichomes at the bottom of the glass jug so now im going to use the frosty trim and see how it builds up, the only negative so far is a few od bits of small leaf have come through ( but i can pour the water into a seperate jug and pour it back in through the coffee maker and it should remove this excess matter. + rep for the material that I could pour the watter through that would still hold the crystals
 
OOOOO SHIT! was plunging up and down to stire the matter and knock the chrystals around and the motherfucker just exploded

This is a bad idea for a number of reasons. Number one, glands will settle to the bottom in the ice water. It would work best in reverse with the trim above using the plunger to pull the plant material out.

are you a semi-blind medicinal user because i already said that was the way i was doing it... it was working realy well until i kinda got to excited with the plunging up and down to stir, luckily only lost about quarter of the water as only the top bit of glass flung off, ( pressure explosion) so yeh ive still got the hash

Next time you can get the stuff you need to make hash at Home Depot or a paint store. Just ask me how.

Gotta give him an A for effort at least. Nothing wrong with a little ingenuity once in awhile. If you are building up pressure like that then I think the trim is clogging up the filter holes.
 
well i did kinda of go nuts with it to try and shake more trichs loose, it was a realy cheap coffee maker tho £3 i should have seen it coming

Theres like 8 videos on youtube about how to make has, ive tried just about all of them and they all work pretty well, only things you need to buy is like a sifter and some wax paper. just type in on youtube "how to make hash" or " how to make hashish" the first 3 videos are the best........quick, and easy
