i work at a coffe shop and we throw out close to 100lbs of used coffee grounds a day and quite often we have requests from people who want some to use in their gardens i was wondering if that could be used for my special garden and the best way to use it if anyone has anyone knowledge about this thanx! happy 420

I have added used coffee grounds to an outdoor herb-growing area for some time with good results. From what I understand, they can be somewhat acidic and may lower your Ph level if used too much. They are also prone to mould if left exposed in humid conditions.

Ground coffee is high in nitrogen,
making it a very good mulch for fast-growing vegetables.
Many organic growers swear by coffee grounds as mulches for tomato plants.:hump:

hope that helps

I would mix a little in and leave some on top.

coffee grounds also helps control snails and slugs so some on top is good
