Who uses it and what for? Ive been reading about it and would love to hear the locals input .

Oh yeah I like my coco coir too, I just bought some natural coco milk/water and I think with aloe,coco and a pinch of kelp for foliar would be nice to try. I hear the benefits are great but I dont see much talk on here about it.

Nobody does coco and organics. They all do DTW which A) wastes expensive nutes lol and B) they're wasting to keep salt levels down lol. I'm currently cooking coco just as super soil and can't wait to experiment. Coco loves to hold on to cal/mag so watch em.

I thought coco needed more cal mag possiblely due to that fact. My coco will sometimes show ca deficiency over my soiless mix with the same ingredients. I love the 2 mixed and coco alone is good in smart pots.

Use rock phosphate and 1tsp dolomite lime/G. There goes your probs. sorry for misreading your ? LOL. Coconut water is a waste of time and $ with proper amendments.

Coco is good for potassium when it breaks down from cooking soil. That's why Sub doesn't add any potassium nutes to super soil. There's coco already in the roots bags. Plus kelp. Coconut water is good. It's full of enzymes. Plants love it.

I thought organic matter, dead roots, and/or bugs provide enough enzymes?! Correct me if I'm wrong as I'm always learning. I always thought coconut water cost too damn much. Maybe there's a cheap powder.

When I use it I buy fresh coconuts $1-$2 each. You get a 1/4 cup - 1/2 cup of fresh coconut water. Its more concentrate than the bottled stuff. Its 1/4 cup of fresh coconut water to 5 gal of water. Enzymes break down dead and old roots. Promote new root growth. Barley seed sprout teas or diatistic malted barley flour is cheaper in the long run. That's good for even more enzymes.

with bottle coconut water its a 10:1 ratio. water:coconut water

edit ::

actually think its 15:1.
