Hey guys I had a question for advanced growers. My plants are doing great they had 30 40% more than my soil plants. They are covered in Frost . There is a problem though the nose isn't there. They don't smell as good as the soil plants not even close. Anyone ever experience this in Coco???

I'm thinking about adding teas and more microbes to get a taste more like soil. Just was wondering if I should pH a tea?
The texture of the Coco nugs are different from the soil nugs to has anyone noticed this?

Any tips on improving flavor would be appreciated.

What Nutrients are you using?

Cyco Nutrients plus most their additives , plus bud candy, Finisher, and Sugaree. In botanicare coco
I use the Cyco base nutrients only,Grow a-b and bloom a-b. None of their other products. If I feel my plants need a little more PK I use Hydroplex as a PK booster. Also the final 2 weeks of flower I switch to a mild Pure Blend Pro flower formula.

I don't often grow in soil indoors but I do not notice a difference in the bud structure between a soil mix and coir and I've been growing in coir for 10 years.
Are you flushing your coir plants prior to Harvest ?

yes I've flushed them, even took one and ran sugars thru the flush still not that great.... What organics are you running in your coco

Did you soak your Coco in a Cal-mag supplement? It's incredibly absorbent and can suck up all types of micro and macro nutrients. Not saying I know what's going on here just a simple guess!

JUST INCASE, someone reads this I found out the problem I had. I added worth worm castings to the mix and now my plants smell again. That fixed everything!!!!!

I'm experiencing something similar although I'm in hydro and not coco. I've been able to track it down to temperature. When my canopy temp is at 72 F or less, there is very little smell. 74 F and up and it wreaks to high hell. Could your situation be similar to mine?
