Coco in an earthbox? Advice needed

I am a few weeks out from starting an Easy Ryder (lowryder #2 x AK 47) indoor op using 8 homemade Earthbox-type containers. Does anyone know if coco would be a good choice as a medium for these containers?

Based on their website I know Earthbox tends to lean towards potting mix, but I'm wondering if coco would be advantageous. From reading several articles it seems that coco is better than soil because it airier and provides more oxygen to the roots. Anyone have any suggestions or comments regarding this? I'll make a journal as things get closer to getting underway. Thanks

in an earth box the nutes are in the soilless mix the res is pure water. in ours we mixed in guano and dry nutes. its all about how well the media wicks up water, i'm not a coco guy so i'm not sure how well it wicks. but i can say the earthbox did great on our porch with two plants in it, 3/4 of a pound

I'm not too familiar with dry nutes...did you just mix em in the medium? I've done a couple earthbox cycles and have loved the results using roots organic. I've heard lots about people switching to coco and never going back but I need to hear some confirmation before abandoning my current method.

i hear coco is great but its a bit like hydro. we got the dry fox farm stuff comes in a box.
get some coco fill the box fill the res wait a bit then stick your finger an inch or two down if its damp it should work
