Coco grow using the wrong pots can I change?

Im growing in coco X4 sensi skunk using 600w LED. I'm using normal plastic pots with drainage at the bottom but really want to change them to smart pots. Can I do this when they're only 12 days old?

I wouldn't. It's not like smart pots are that much better than a plastic pot. Typically people use smart pots to air prune root and help with aeration but I don't think that is as crucial with coco since you'd treat it like hydro anyway and water much more often than dirt.

But if you're hell bent on transplanting them I would do it sooner than later because it'll take the plant some time to recover.

Why are you wanting to transplant? Are your plants not doing well or you just like the idea of smart pot a little more?

Had some problems with over watering and nute burn (both my fault!) they've recovered now but I've noticed today they hold LOADS of water at the bottom due to the drainage not being great, I put one pot on it's side slightly and about half litre drained out. Also when they get bigger the added oxygen from the smart pots can't be bad

It can be done but do it asap. I grow in coco and smart pots are the way to go.
If you do it make sure you fill the smart pots with prepared coco. Meaning presoaked with weak nutrient solution and squeeze excess water out so the coco is damp but not wet. Are these 12 day old plants rooted clones or from seed. With rooted clones if done right you will see roots poking through the fabric in four or five days. With a 12 day old seedling it will take a little longer.

Have them sitting on a wire coaster, problem solved! As long as the coco is light enough & not compacted your drainage will be ok, more holes would be ideal!
Idk if I would disturbed a seedling or clone, for that matter. Twelve days give your roots long enough to explore and I know I would damage them, trying to love them too much!
What size pot you wanting to go to?

12 days from seed I fucked then up at the start which slowed them down and they've only just recovered.
I use canna pro is that pre-washed with weak nutes?

I stabbed about 200 holes in each pot and raised them...nearly cut my finger off doing it though thought I was going to have to go to hospital lol

It's pre-washed and pre-buffered. But other than that I don't know their process. Without that information I can't say what's in it. That's why I use bricked coco and pre-buffer myself.

This is from their website.
"CANNA COCO's water/ air complex contains 73% water and 23% air. Furthermore, the coconut grind is pre-buffered according to a special procedure. This is necessary to obtain an optimal growing condition, assuring the best development potential of your plants.

Use CANNA COCO with the appropriate fertilizer and you know you are investing in quality and certainty!"
