tim do you think this white growing is iron deficiency ? I had it before in coco it start like this and mess up everything , I just lowered ph to 5.5 I mean ph 5.5 runoff and it fixed . 5.5 start and swing to 6.5 next watering again and again

Ph has been 5.8-6 nothing over or below. Rookie it is RG lol. Although the dark period may be causing it i have never encountered the problem thus far from a few grows that I have done. With that being said i may be overrhinking it a big as the COCO is new to me and has been rocky dialing everything in
OK.
IMHO. If it were me I'd let it rise to just above 6 myself.
It looks like your plant needs a little calcium. I'm not suggesting feeding any extra either. I'm suggesting it's that your ph isn't rising above ph6 before you're feeding, and topping off. If your coirs ph, is sitting really stable. Just vary the ph a little when you feed.

This chart is really handy. Notice the ph calcium, and magnesium are most available?

Your issue is only minor. So don't be worried. But I'd bare it in mind :peace:

Hey my bad :peace:
Ignore my last quote. Sorry.
Yeah I do same. 5.5 and let it swing.
I hear you.

I see what you're saying about iron. Hard to tell from the pic.
OP???
Are the veins still green? Or are they yellow too?

Thanks for the reply BAX. I was also wondering about the iron as a quick search led to sometimes people had the same “symptoms” as mine and thats what it happend to be.

What did you feed it?
My last feeding was wednesday
6ML of A+B
3ML rhiztonic
4ML Cannazym
PH:6.0
PPM:550 with tap water of around 80-100

RUN OFF
PH: 6.1
PPM: 640

When was the last time your runoff was below 6?
Are you getting yellowing between the veins, on the pale tops?
Or is it more of a blanket of yellow. Veins yellow, and all?
Can you take a pic in more natural light?

I havnt had it below 5.8 the whole grow. Its more of just the whole top is yellow from the inside of the top going out. Here is a pic with my lights off as its prolly the best unfiltered i can get. It dosnt quite look as bad with lights off.

Could well be sulphur.
In any case just let your ph swing.

Hey guys. About halfway through week 3 of flower. I believe they are looking pretty decent. Ive adjusted from feeding every two days to about half a gallon maybe a little more each day with run off and i think the plants are liking it. Ive beeb letting my plants PH swing a little here and there and am feeding of a PPM of 600-650 with tap water included. I am wondering what your guys opinions on how they look and also if i should trim them up a bit. I have read some people believe in no trimming in flower. Some say yes. And some say yes but not after week 3. Ill post some pics of above and below canopy below. Thanks in advance.

Hey guys, just checkin in. Plants are doing what seems to be pretty well. Just ending week 3 of flower. Im feeding at 700 ppm (tap water included) and am around 6.0 PH. Run off is about 650, and they are drinking roughly a gallon a day. Leaves are already pretty frosty. Ill post pictures below. Sorry about the poor light. It was just before they kicked on.

Nice man!!
Looking very happy :weed:

Just thought I'd add too. Watch your nitrogen, right about now. IMHO I wouldn't add any extra, and I'd start cutting it back, in a week, or two. As you lower the nitrogen, is a good time to introduce any bloom booster. But only a little, if you do.

Plants look great man.

UPDATE: ill post a picture below. Starting week five plants are looking healthy but i have noticed the plant on the left not drinking as much nutes as the run off has become 150 ppm or so over what im feeding, where as the one on the right is still wanting more. Ive been feeding a Cannas bloom booster for a week and half not at 4-6ml each feeding. When is a good time to stop the booster. About two weeks before harvest? Also based on the pics how do think the harvest will be decent? The dimensions of them are pretty much 24”x24”x and 24” tall.

MATE!
Who gives a fuck about your yield. They look so damn healthy. The buds are looking killer.

The one plant you mention starting to feed less is a good indication, that feeding is starting to slow down. Because stretch is over.
This time right now is a great indication to start tapering down the ppms, in anticipation for flush in a couple/few weeks.

Fuken dhope dude.
For real.
Your yield will be fine, and the reward is going to be more than worth it.

Thans for the input Tim! It is much apreciated. What are your recomondations as to flushing.? Should i just do a straight PH water run and if so for how long? And if not maybe a low level ppm feeding maybe 150 or so ppm nutes?

I'd be aiming to taper.
If say you're at 1000ppm now. Start slowly tapering down to around 400 beginning of flush week. Plain water last 4-5 days.

I personally only flush for a week or so.
I aim to have the colours of fall by flush week.

I wouldn't follow your grow schedule to a T either.
Tapering down the ec, really makes it a lot easier to time the flush right.

You'll know. You'll see, and smell it!

UPDATE: begining of Week 8 starts tomorrow. The strains are suppose to be around 9wk flowering. Not noticing any amber trichs yet so they are still going strong but not really picking up anymore size in bud, if they are it is slowly. Ill post some pictures below. My ppm is at about 480-500 tampering down to 400 like recommended I think my next grow I might try and do 4 plants instead of 2 and keep them trimmed up to about 8-12 Strong branches, in the hopes of the same size yield and less “popcorn” sites. The one on the left has quite a few smaller buds comared to the one on the right having more larger buds. Happy with the way things have went so far, as the begining was rough with the coco i think ill keep sticking to it for awhile and see what i can do. The next update i do will be around flush and then maybe one after harvest!
