Cob lights where to begin?

im interested in cob lights just don't know where to start.

Start by reading through diy cob section. Thats where I started, Cutters was very helpful. What size room will you be using

You'll want 30 to 50 watts per square foot of floor space you wish to light.

I would say 20 to 50 watts per square foot. I just finished 5 footers @ 20w per square foot and got 1.1g/w with all organics and soil.

I think 25 cob watts is more than enough.. U cannot compare cobs to hps in a watt to watt battle.. Cobs>hps..

I have that comparison going right now. DE getting a 25% wattage advantage. And COB's- lower efficiency/higher output VS. double the COBs/ high efficiency (950w vs 1000w). Journal in Sig.
