CO2 Supplement

Most growers use 20lb tanks, not co2 cartridges. You'd go through shitloads of those things. A 5lb tank might last you a week if the space is small enough and well sealed.

IMO, it's a waste of money. Unless you have everything dialed in properly, your plants won't be able to use the extra co2. Higher temps, more frequent watering/feeding, more light... all these things should increase along with your co2 levels for best results. It's just not one of those things that can be half-assed with yeast fermenters (those things were first used for aquariums before growers picked up on it, they actually get annoyed when growers come into their forums looking for info on co2 enrichment, lol)

Good luck man!!! I hope you weren't trolling :eyesmoke:

That thing would last approximately 15seconds. lol

Before even thinking about Co2 supplementation you need to have a sealed room for it to be effective.

Honestly it all depends on how many cubic feet of area your filling and how much plant matter is in the room along with how "sealed" the room is. Healthy plants with the right conditions will consume allot of co2. I Have 512 cu ft with a 8x8x8 area. I keep the co2 ppm's at 1500 and go through a 25lb tank of co2 every other week, they cost 13 buck to refill :-) def worth it! But everything has to be in check to get the REAL effects of using co2

Hmmmm maybe i should wait untill i have enough money to buy monitors and a more secure sealed box.

Thanks guys.
