CO2 Question

I am getting ready for summer early and am trying the Yeast/sugar method early...Question, My wife just brought home some active yeast, and there were two to choose from
1. Western Family Active yeast with ascorbic acid, and sorbitan monostearate
2. Fleischmanns Active yeast, with no added ingredients,

The Western Family was less then half the price...Will the ascorbic acid hinder the process of making CO2?
My gut feeling says it won't do anything, but I figured I should ask the crew..

I use Red Star Quick Rise Yeast. It’s about .99 for a 3 pack. I use a bubble system to tell me when to add a little more sugar to get it going again and it has been working great.

It doesnt matter Ive used both brands and theyve done there job

Ive personally just bought the jar they sell with a nice 5lb bag of sugar save money that way instead of buying the packets every single time you need them.

Just a lil tid bit for ya

See more buds volume 3 the perfect garden has a good bucket setup for co2, maybe something worth checking out.

google see more buds the perfect garden!! See if you can pick it up from somewhere.

Thanks guys, yeah for the money and quantity that I will be using, I am looking for bulk purchase of yeast...So the best price I have found yet is $14 a pound, and sugar is about $1.50 a pound...I am using 5 gallon buckets, and putting them underneath my big plants. We will see....Is there an optimal temp for the solution to produce the highest amount of CO2? Damb, I really need a instrument for measuring CO2, so I know what is really going on...I will Check out Vol. 3 NGT, I like how you get those plugs in there! CALLING SEEMORE BUDS.......

When I add the water I make sure its just a tad warm then goes in the sugar then yeast give it a quick shake and thats it.

What Ive also personally done is set up a 2 liter between like 4 plants each with a straw aiming at each plant. They seem to love it that way. But I do have to change out the mix within a week or so

Might wanna also check out using a CO2 Boost Bucket

LOL, I like the straw idea! I guess if you wanted to you could take it a step further and close the end of the straw or hose, and make many small holes, and string it under all the plants....Hmm, I like it...I think I will give that a try. Thanks for the idea and link 5.0, I will check it out right now...

Dude, whats in those CO2 boost buckets? I like the idea of putting a air pump with a timer in the bucket..But they have to be using some form of yeast for the active ingredient.....

yeah if not straws you can also use some of that clear tubing that you see in like fish tanks and stuff. Which ever works really. I use straws a buddy of mine uses that tubing I said above.

As for the bucket I dunno check out there site for more info

Well the proof is in the puddin.....Or in the nugs.. I would like to test one of those buckets, do you think they have a loner?
