co2 ppm meter?

What do i need to measure ppm of the co2? I remember subcool said u can rent them from the gas conpany but i called and they said they dont do that haha. is there any cheap ones out there? Thanks!

What you're looking for is called a c02 monitor. If you're doing a sealed room get an environmental controller w/ c02 monitor since you are going to need both anyway.
C.A.P. models are the cheapest, Sentinel is probably the best value for the money.

It controls your air conditioner/extraction fan, c02, and your humidifier/dehumidifier. Basically it controls all your environmental factors, temp/c02/humidity based on parameters you can set.

I got a guy thats selling a 20lb tank full and regulator for 130. Seems like a good deal considering all the reg ive seen are atleast 60 amd tanks are 80 offline intown are 120-160 empty. Is there anything i should look for that could be wrong with regulator?

It has to have a solonoid valve that plugs into the co2 monitor, so the monitor can turn on and off the valve automatically. Look at the ones that CAP make, and make sure they look similar. The monitor will have it's main power on all the time, and a second power that has a piggy back plug that is on your powerstip that only turns on your gear during the lights on time. You don't want to push co2 into the room during dark periods, they don't "eat" the co2 in the dark, only when lights on. A 20lb tank doesn't last that long unless the room or tent is small. I use 50lbs in 5 days for a 24 plant flower room that is 8x14x7.5.

You can save a lot of money by going to your local welding supply company to refill your tank. The hydro stores that you can get filled tanks make a good penny for the "convenience" of them going to the welding store for you. Mine costs $23 to refill 50lbs, the stores cost over $30 for 20lbs here. It adds up.

I dont have enough for the monitor so im just gobba have to go with the tank and regulator for now. Get the monitor for next run. Considering im 3 weeks into flower already and next run wont bw for a couple of months..
My tent is fairly small 2.7 feet by 2.7 ft. 6 ft tall only 3 plants
