I have 3 4X4 grow tents against one wall and 3 against another wall in my basement. Half the year I vent outside. Half the year it's either too cold or too hot and I recirculate inside. It's not ideal but it's what I got. The room is used for other things as well, it's where I smoke, got my DJing gear set up, and the wife has a treadmill and we have some sofas and a bar etc. My idea was during the months that it's not being vented to just add some Co2 to bring the level up a bit. The local hydro store guys thought it was a stupid idea.
Their points were..
1) You shouldn't run C02 when lights are out (half the closets are set to be darkwhen the others are light).
2) You have to run the Co2 directly to each tent.
3) You don't want to have C02 in a room you're going to be using to walk and play etc.
In my mind I just want to get the C02 to where it would be naturally if I were venting the room outside and it was being replaced. I don't think the 2 to 3 hours somebody is in the room a day is enough for that. Your thoughts?
