I got a 4x8 grow tent going right now & would like to start adding co2 for my next crop. I already have the controller & the regulator. The controller is a Titan controls atlas 2. Now i know my tent isn't completely air tight as there are some small pin sized holes around the tent , and light leaks from zippers. So obviously Co2 would escape from the tent.
Heres my questions.
Would this be efficient enough to run co2? Would it be worth it?
Should i get rid of the co2 equipment and invest in something that would be of more use??
I was thinking maybe i could cover the holes with duct tape?
Another thought was buying panda paper and wrapping the outside of the tent with it. Idk just a thought. Lol

If you could do this and seal it up good. the c02 will be worth it. You don't want to have to fill your tank every week

Wow first reply I've ever gotten on this site awesome. Yeah i was thinking it would at least help. Thanks for your input. Check out my grow if you'd like let me know what you think.(in my signature) thnx again man.

I've ran co2 in a tent before empty's a tank pretty quick but did notice some better yields and growth. Just try to make it as sealed as possible (make sure air flaps at bottom are closed) helps out if your temps are a little high also.

I probably wont run it until my next crop once i get the tank i got two air cooled 1000 hps for flower (Im only running one at the moment) so im sure that will raise the temps to at least 85 probably even higher. And all flaps are closed. Cool so i guess I'll run co2 as soon as i can afford a tank. thnx for your input.

I'm in the same process of adding co2. I decided to ditch the tent and get 3 more 1000w's. Since I'm adding an ac unit and co2 why not use it and the room to its fullest potential? If uprading or building a sealed room/shed is not possible I would just try to seal the tent up as best as I could with duct tape and hope for the best. You will be paying for unused co2, therefore will have to fill your tank more often. Which I find somewhat unproductive.

Also the guy above probably meant that co2 will help with heat problems, not so much as heat helps with the co2.

Well I live in a rental home so i cant really put up walls for a sealed room & the tents in the garage. I've heard that you can run higher temps &humidity with Co2. But ill give it a try.
