Im looking at getting the Green Air CT-dh-4p for my system. I have a regulator and a 20lb tank on the way. Is anyone out there using this one, and what are your opions of this controler.

The CT-DH-4 and 4P is designed to be used with CO2 equipment, dehumidifiers, and exhaust fans. While it is similar to the CT-DH-3 it has the added feature of offering independent outlets for temperature and humidity control. It is ideally suited for use with dehumidifiers. Temperature raise will activate the right hand outlets and deactivate the CO2 outlet. Humidity rise will activate the dehumidifying outlet. Internal sensors will allow a 7° temperature comfort zone and a 7% humidity (differential) between the time the equipment goes "Off "and comes back "On" again. Plug the controller into 110V wall outlet. Set the temperature and humidity to the desired settings. The CO2 outlet is normally in the "On" position and is able to activate CO2 equipment as needed. The photosensor will defeat CO2 enrichment during darkness hours.

if you only have a 20lb co2 tank i wouldn't recommend using that controller.
whats going to happen is that you'll find yourself refilling your tank alot!, if u want to use that try to invest into a co2 gen, its cheaper but remember it will cause heat.

I have a greenair controller also but not the same model as yours and i have to refill my propane like every 2 wk, imagine refilling y our 20lb tank when using a controller.

I did the calculation for my grow area and running 18hr a day it says i should get 45days out of a #20 tank. It only runs when the lights are on .(we will see) It will prob be more like every 3-4wks i have to fill it, but thats not bad since its only $19 to fill it and i have a friend that owns a restaurant and has a spare 10# co2 tank he said he will give me, so i will have one for back-up....(he thinks im making a kegorator, and he never comes over so all is good)

Hey Weasel... Did you ever get this controller?

How is it treating you?

One tank a week or 1 a month?

I have the urge to try one. I grow in a cabinet (2x4x5-ft) and the temps go up 10 degrees in a half hour. If this controller goes on then off in a 7 degree/humidity range each 30 minutes and it refills for 3 minutes (my calculation for my cabinet = 1200-1500 ppms co2).

This calculator from Greentrees Hydro

CO2 Calculator - Greentrees Hydroponics

says a 20 lb bottle will last 174.8 hours ... at 3 minutes every half hour or so for 12 hours (bloom cycle), that's alot of days (if I figure correctly, 1+ hours a day divided into 174 = 174, 12 hour days..

I smoke pot:joint:, so if I'm missing something obvious, that's the reason!:eyesmoke:

I hope you're still out there.
