Co2 Boost

Was just curious if anyone has used the disposable Co2 boost product and what you think of it. I don't think i need any extra Co2 right now, but i don't want to go to the trouble of getting tanks filled etc. if i decide to do it. :dunce:

excellofizz, i'll check it out. How long does it last?
I divide the puck into four pieces. I use one portion in the vegetative area. I use one in the flower area. They are expensive though. A container of 15 costs about 60 dollars.

Ok, here's another dumb question, do the plants benefit from Co2 in both flower and Veg. stages? :joint: :dunce:
Yup, they sure do. Here's a simplied equation of what's going on:

6 H2O (water) + 6 CO2 (carbon dioxide) + light will make C6H12O6 (sugar) + 6 O2 (oxygen)

Anytime the lights are on your plants are taking in water and carbon dioxide unless the stomas of the plants are closed. At any point in the plants life cycle (except possibly for unrooted cuttings) your plants will benefit from enhanced CO2.

Here's a more in depth explanation:

Stoma - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hope this helps!
