Co2 and dehumidifiers

So I got a real question which is important to me, is a cO2 machine really necessary even if ya doing a closet grow where I can just open it for fresh air and all....and the same thing with dehumidifier, when is that really necessary? Thanks in advance for any inputs

a Co2 Machine isn't "Needed" but it does increase yield if you don't have the money to get a Co2 Regulator/canister you can always use home made Co2 "heres a link to the youtube video on how to create it in 2L bottles" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-kHWZ0IXoA

As for the dehum it all depends on your situation if RH rises to high you have a greater risk at fungus and mold etc..

For a small grow, I don't think you need either. Especially not a dehumdifier as cold season comes on and heaters lower humidity. I sometimes use a humidifier in the winter!

it really all depends on his location and set up for the dehum growin not trying to discredit you or anything but some areas get way more RH then others you know?

If you see sweat building on the walls etc in your grow you probably need a dehumidifier or some method of keeping the room somewhat dryer. With a closet grow with no exterior ventilation, I doubt that you'll need one. But then like buddy said it all depends alot on the area where you are growing. I built a separate room on my house without interior access to grow my weed for legal reasons. I would not recomend using co2 in a home unless the house was set up for growing weed and the only people there are the growers. I undersand why so many people who can afford it go with bottled co2. With no doubt bottle co2 reduces the dangers of producing co2 in other ways. Another way we could all apply for jobs at soda pop factories and pose as employees. Organic processed co2 are imfamous for thier powdery mold...side effects.

well said I agree. Another way to tell if your RH is to high though is get a hydrometer/thermometer so you dont have to wait for the walls to sweat could have caused dameg by that point
