Get seed's from the breeder if you want the real deal. Buying clones is a gamble and most dispensaries don't know what the fuck they are talking about. Colorado might be your best bet if you decide to go that way.

go to clone ville ask for calvin, and ask for the diamond og and the green crack and the blue dream and the king lui og he dont fuck around man they are real you need a recomondation and i hate to say it but p.o.genetics.. they have real genetics other places yes true just a gamble..

Their are ways around bugs and it just so happens too be spring so I can quarantine outdoors take cuts spray down with neem oil before bringing indoors and like Shantibaba has said too leave your mother outdoors for a few months every year that it will restore vigour. Who knows maybe even breed some f5's like DJ Short what people would do for an f5 green crack yeah I want the cuts their are ways around any problem you can think up you just need the real deal not some guys OG Kush he got from a 5 pack of fems. I want too make true breeding of whatever cut I find best someone has got too do it and it ain't DNA, Calli Connection etc..

Yeah over at Mr Nice forum Shantibaba goes all into how he keeps his parent stock alive hes got some old cuts a few years ago he said he had some 15 years old he talks about bugs and everything I'll see if I can find it a little later.Wow! thanks for the info, I didn't know that giving your mommas a little Sun Tan would bring them back to health!

like has been said, way too often you buy a clone thinking it's green crack, only to find out 4 months later the guy who sold it to you was smoking crack, and that's the only crack thing about your plant.. happens all the time, you walk into a spot,oh do you got x,z, and z?? oh yeah sure, lemme go in the back and get them for you.. dude pulls out the real tags in the plants, writes x,y, and z on them and sells them off to you..

how the hell is it just for profit? And yes I will take sour diesel, purple urkle, girl scout cookies and all can't a guy just want to grow the real deal killer west coast shit? I don't have a 20k watt room for fuck sakes I just want to know where to look not some clown talking shit cause they have nothing better to do. If it was all for the money I would invest in a warehouse and Critical Mass not blow 2 grand out west finding killer cuts and you think people back east would not love a cut? Everyone who grows would love bubba kush cuts or whatever else I find sure people scam but obviously not everyone or nobody would hear of Blue Dream.
the only reason I started the thread was too find a reliable source no need for speculation I've grown many seeds I just want to see what all the fuss is about.

I can write you a 3 page paper about how clones get mixed up due to inorganization and being too stoned for work rather than someone being completely dishonest and changing the names on the tags. I can't speak for any of the shady places but when our company fucked up we would deal with the issue at hand and the person who we could easily locate as being the cause.
After 3 years of being open I feel we have enough procedures to dwindle down any of the BS about getting the wrong strain.
However even if you do get the right strain you better quarantine those plants because no matter where you get clones they like to bring with them disease and bugs.
(But I completely disagree that someone would sell you clones by changing the name tags, that would be the worst business model in America.)
Forgot to add in, sometimes its not even the collectives fault and its just the clone vendors who are too drunk for work.

grow from seed. better vigor than clones and you can find plants that are exactly what youre looking for
i imagine a dude walking with a full tray of labeled clones, then tripping over a wire, and then spilling all the labels and clones all over the floor. thats how dispensaries mess up genetics
if youre dead set on clones tho, the healthy clone in denver or treehouse in colorado springs are nice places

They label the trays, as well as use the little white post label things that we all use. So even if hypothetically you dropped the tray there would be some indication what strain it was. You also have to realize that when someone sells bad clones do you think that customers will be back for more? The whole point of the clone sellers is to sell as many as humanly possible. The only way to do that is by consistency and quality.
With seeds it is a much longer process from beginning to harvest and the variability depends on the breeder. If they stabilized their strains you won't have as much crazy shit going on.

this is good information, it's a REALLY good idea to insist that the person selling you clones is actually growing them out, and has the final product to show you. In CA we have TONS of really awesome clone-only strains, around here the blue dream is everywhere.
But even with all the strains down here, I've still bought and GROWN about 10 strains that were imposters. GDP, ECSD, jack the ripper, platinum girl scout cookies, sugaree, chocolate rain, and the harlequin, and like I said, they just weren't what they were supposed to be.
But at the same time, I've found a great jack herer, blue dream, cheesequake, and an agent orange, and they were the real deal.
buying clones, I think is kinda like dating, you have to try a lot of types, fail a bunch, and waste about 2-3 months on each one, before you find a good one.

may seem like i'm a post whore, but a method I like to do, is label the growing container, as well as dog-tagging the plant itself, so I use twist ties and a hole punch, and you'll never mislabel again

The clone "company" is the most important thing to look for when looking for the real deal. Epic is an amazing vendor, DHN has had its flaws but over the years has come through. But companies like "midnight farms" and this other one with a cross with a snake through it have no actual evidence of a finished product. What a lot of people do when starting into the clone field is buy some beans and clone the hell out of them like they are the real strain.
An example of this is blue dream, I received a whole tray of it and by the time they all finished I had 3 different phenotypes and I was one pissed off customer. I wanted to bring down the 9,000 lb hammer on their face.
