well if money is no object id dim them a bit to increase efficiency. theyre about 1.55 umol/W pushed to the limit.

while 6 would cover that space easily id personally do 8 in a 5x10 dimmed to 60-70%. spectrum is proven IMO, efficiency is the only area for improvement, but understand that they are putting out a 400W fixture for just over $600. pretend its a $2/watt fixture and use it as such. just because you CAN run it that hard doesnt mean you SHOULD, when dimming is a hallmark feature

if nothing else with the dimmable osram bands one of these is highly useful in a sea of cobs for dialing your spectrum with reasonable efficiency. 5 year warranty and i doubt ill ever need it. great build quality and a good rep to match

considering for my farm. I love the linking capability and voltage flexibility.. I only wish it covered a full 4x4 . will need to test one out before I lay down the cash to swap out the HIDs

Im very impressed with the 550. 4x4 gives you 25 watts per foot, 3x4 is 33.3. I have mine is a smaller space and use the controller to ramp up to 40 watts per foot during the "noon hours"...
The controller alone was/is a major game changer for me.

These would be a tad too small for a row of 4ft x24 ft in a warehouse. I am going to contact CLW to see if they are working on a 1000 watt equivilant.

Would work in the seed room well though

Yes 6 of them...nice you can switch the room from veg to flower no pots to move, no bulbs to change...but it does all come at a cost...
