CLW solar system 550 settings

hello RIU

I recently started using a solar system 550 and was hoping to get some feed back on where to set the red, white and blue for veg and bloom. I did speak with CL and they recommended 70 red 99 white 99 blue for veg. I also found one other comment to run them between 30 and 50 red 99 white and 99 blue for veg. Then they suggested running the first week of bloom under the same spectrum and then change to 99 red 99 white and between 60-70 blue. Sound accurate or does anyone have other ideas? I just skimmed through BM9AGS experience but couldn't tell what he ran at? Hopefully he'll find this post!

Thanks!

Anyone have any thoughts on settings for the California solar system 550 controller for veg and flower?
Thanks

Yo yo yo...

Ran them botches full blast all the way through. Next run we will dial blue down during flower and red down during veg. White should always be at 99 imho

Don't over think it man it's an easy 1 pound light which is great for 400w.

Thanks for the recommendation. Haven't been able to find much info besides you and the reps at CLW. Hopefully more people chime in

It's a great light. Even with cobs you won't do much better. I'm kind of an osram snob so I'm partial to those specific leds. The cheap shot Chinese companies ran "Burple" leds in to the ground with producing 20% efficient leds for the last 5+ years so it has a bad rep. With quality leds it's efficient and worth its weight. 98% of the companies push shit leds tho so it hurts progress. As of now white should always be the base of your grow light then add in spectrum targeting for veg and flower. Maybe you'd like to take a look at timber grow lights......

Thanks for the infos! I'm starting a new grow with the SolarSystem 550 right now. Very impressed with the build quality! But it's difficult to find proper informations for efficient use.

Do you have any recommendations for seedlings? Will something like 40R 99W 99B be too much?

What height are you hanging the LEDs? I'm not sure how close they should be, especially at the seedling/veg stage, I don't want to hurt them!

Sounds like a good light scheme. I'd prob keep them at about 15" edit25" until they're 12" tall

For efficiency.....it's 1.7umol/J which isn't anything to brag about. Same as an HID de. However pulling an LB with 400w is awesome and the grower expencts more this run. IMG_0635.JPG

Thanks a lot for your answer! Perfect timing, the light will switch on in a few hours! I'll try hanging this beauty a bit lower than I was planning to, 15" is much closer than I thought (this is my first LED).

I'd be more than happy if I get 1lb with only 400W. We'll see how it goes! Thanks again.

Oh oh, back to the original height then, wouldn't want to hurt them, they're still literally babies =) Thanks!

Question for BM9 any advice for returning a light(Bdog750platinum) for repair? I purchased on ebay and several diodes were out. Contacted company and they assured me they would work with me down road as in discount on shipping etc. Told them I can return to seller but kind of needed light at time.

Hard to sell light with diodes out. Tryin to figure if worth havin fixed then reselling it. Thanks. Realize you have low opinion of them but was wondering if they are reputable in their word of fixing at a fair price. Gonna blow smoke and tell them help me now and I will buy 20 lamps down road then its corn on the cob minus the corn.

Any idea what would be a reasonable cost to fix the light? Does it matter the color of the leds that need to be replaced? Probaly at least 20 to 30 diodes out. Lookin for a reference point
