closet growing conditions?

I was wondering what the best living conditions for a small closet plant would be? Things such as what tempurature, lighting, and how much room would be needed. Also maybe some basics of the difference if there is one to growing in a closet opposed to grow room?:joint:

If your growin in a closet use compact flourescent lights so you dont have to deal with the heat issues. temp should be 70-85F humidity 40-60% PH level 6.0-6.5. Space depends on what and how much you grow. you can grow one plant comfortably in 2'x2' area I believe.

the ideal environment will be the same as in a grow room. you want the temps to be 65-85deg F, humidity around %50, more for vegging and clones, less for flowering, you want a powerful enough light for your space and # of plants, and you would need at least 1 sq ft for every plant. growing in a close makes it a little more difficult to keep the perfect environment. it gets really hot in a closet because the size is so small. this is just some of the differences

yeah its just the fact that the closet im using is in my room and the tempurature sometimes varies... but i have a heater and normally its cold i suppose i could get a thermometer but would i hang them or what?

I wouldn't worry about it too much, mj is a pretty resilient plant. My closet temps (using cfls) are ALWAYS between 65(night, lights off) and 82 (lights on).

You should only worry if your temps are like 55ish or lower

your biggest concern growing out of the closet is ventilation. a lot of fresh air is necessary for good bud production.

i suggest an intake-outake flow method. probably easier to suck the air out then push fresh air in.

make sure the closet is clean and disinfected.
