So 6.5 weeks of flower. I'd say another 2-3 weeks.
There is no best way to tell without looking at the trichomes. THAT is the best way to tell. Otherwise you're just guessing. No pistils turning amber isn't a sign of the plant maturing. Some strains the pistils don't turn amber until after it's cut down.
Go buy a 12 dollar microscope from radio shack. Any adult growing can afford that.
