Cloning

Hi, have a very basic grasp on the subject of cloning(which means iv received some of a pal before ha) this is genuinely as far as it goes, what i am wondering is could i do this to outdoor plants and if so will that plant not be affected and continue as it was beforehand? As well as this i am worried about the timing of doing this my seeds are being germinated in a couple days so how long would it take for one or two of em to be ready for taking a couple clones? As im aware if i leave this to long it wont even be worth putting em out as theyll have no chance of finishing, thanks for help!

You can clone in any environment. They'll typically be bushy enough at 1 month in to take a couple clones from. Taking one or two clones won't noticeably affect the final result.

Thanks for the reply mate, this will be in around about a months time so would you say i could then also put them outside to be ready a little while after the others? Even if i do have to harvest them a little early?

Clones are exact genetics of the parent plant, which also means that when they are taken from the parent, they are at the same maturation stage genetically. So yes, you can clone a mature plant, have a clone equal to the same maturity, and have them finish around if not exactly the same time. People do this for SoG operations. :) The only downside is the time it takes for the clone to establish a root structure.
