Cloning?

Is it possible to take multiple clones from a single branch or can you only clone the top? For example if I have a 15 inch branch can I make three 5 inch clones from the branch as long as each of the 5 inch pieces have a set of fan leaves? If you can take multiple clones from a single branch should I be worried about the air entering the stem from the top?

As long as you have a growing node and you cut a fan leaf/node above your 45 degree cut at the bottom, you can take as many as you like!

Would I have to worry about the air getting into the stem from the top? Thanks for your help!

no it will heal itself

Its not something ya jump into and expect 100% survival.I give em a few days to heal on mom.But go for it.I always end up with too many,

Have to agree with the above, yes it is easy to do this just be sure to give yourself a bit of stem above the node for it to heal. I usually give it about 3/8 of an inch above the node, this gives me two main colas without topping again and losing the time for it to grow back out.
