Cloning

I wanted to clone my plant before I have to put it into flowering in a few weeks. I have tried six times to clone it with no luck. I am using Schultz Take Root. It just does not seem to work at all. I have no idea what I am doing wrong. I mean I followed the instructions on the jar, but it just has not worked at all for me. Please help me out.

6 times? i got it my first and only try I cut off a lower shoot right when i saw pistils i made the cutting to short but it still rooted becauses it started growing 2 weeks later.I uses regular big pair of scissors i cut the shoot then i put the stem in water and cut it again under water to make sure their was no air bubbles then i rubed some rooting poweder on the bottom inch or so of the stem with my hands and i stuck it in dirt in a 32 oz cup and in the corner of my grow area under a 26w cfl on 12/12 took like 10-15 days but it rooted make sure you wash your hands and scissors before hand

The six times is including the three I am trying right now which seem to be dying.
I have not tried cutting it under water maybe that is why it is not working. I always wash my hands before doing anything around my plant, especially before cloning. I also clean my scissors with soap and water and then sterilize them with alcohol every time I cut anything off of her. How big does the cutting have to be? I ask because I have been trying 2-3 inch branch.

i use no rooting hormones or powders at all, my clones do perfectly fine without it. all i do is cut a lower branch in a 45 degree angle and then put it in coco coir and water with RO water and into the humudity dome. i water them everyday and they always root within a week. just keep it simple with plain water also it depends on strain some are easier to clone and some are not. hope this helps happy growing

try cutting it under water next time and try using a bigger branch like 4 or 5 inch i read that if the cutting is to short it wont root becuae stem will get soft and die or some shit

sounds like your plants are transpiring to death.....donno for sure...i don't use cloning agents either though

What about water?
The clones must absorb it through the leaves til the roots take over.
You have to keep them moist w/ a dome and spraying, unless you use a bubble/mist cloner
