Cloning

Hello All,

I tried to clone a mother plant for the first time and after two weeks nothing has happened with the exception of one clone having one white root at the bottom of the rockwool. I believe I followed all directions any thoughts? Also how long after an initial clone cutting can I take another cutting of clones. I have a 24 inch Larry OG Kush mother

Tell us your setup and maybe we can help figure what happened this time. Also you can take clones whenever the mother is offering a branch suitable for cloning.

how wet are they how far is light and what is temps
do u precondition rockwool
do u use hormone tell us your process so u can get better advice like canefan said
and what size cutting u take

patience, and time my friend is the key ingredient in cloning...if you followed all instructions then all is to do is wait, and mist twice a day....

i'm betting you're giving them too much water. put some perlite in the trey and set the rockwool on top. add enough water to get the perlite wet but not floating. in 7-14 days you'll have roots w/o using hormones. sometimes it may take longer, some strains can be a bitch, but they can all be cloned. be patient and don't drown them, and you'll get results.

thats what i always ask when i see a clone problem post
because i made the same mistake my first clone attempt

you and me both....in fact, i just overwatered my last batch and set them back a week. they still rooted though.

This is so easy.I just took a cutting from my flowering super lemon haze all i did was cut and placed it in soil.No clonig gel or powder just plain soil and guess what after 3 days its standing straight up and leaves are starting to go towards the light. That is a good sign that it will root if it did not already. You really dont need nothing to clone ive seen it done in just a cup of water. My grandmother does this all the time with all of her plants so i tried it with my weed plants and it wworks fine.

Personally I'd say (cloning in jars of water, so slightly different...) - if its gone REALLY limp and theres hardly ANY green left and theres absolutely NO signs of roots or anything after 3 and a half weeks its not gonna work! Am I correct or just impatient?
