cloning

yes you can take a clone from a clone and continue it on for a long time,,however, they claim as the generations go on that it will be more prone to problems and not as potent..only from what i have read, can't confirm, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to start fresh from seed once in a while.

I have a friend who has been running the same strain for 20+ years. Cloned for all those years and as far as potency it was fine, flavor, all the way there. Resistance to mold and bugs, not very good at all.

i have helped alot of my friends clone and i have about a 60% success rate so im not worried about that.
but do clones yield less than the original ?

that is a pretty hard question to answer, there are too many variables to include to make this fair.. I would have to say i think they would yeild to their conditions. crappy answer but it is the truth

Another note,,cloning isn't as easy as it seems, took me over 8 months to get it right, practice.

You're right... its EASIER! Really, cloning is very simple if you keep it simple. I'm on my third batch my second set I had 90% and all I do is cut, dip and plant in a soil/perlite mix 2 feet under 2 4' fluoros, misting 3 times a day for the first 6 days. As simple as it gets!

A clone is the exact genetic copy of the original, yeild would be unchanged if the growing conditons were exactly the same. you should be able to get better than 60% sucess w/o too much trouble. i just cut some 2 days ago, let me see if i can throw up a pic. i've got a method that is really easy.

There are many different forms of cloning, aero, bubblers, dirt may have been easy for you. When ya get into hydro cloning it doesn't just happen for various reasons and generally not for lack of effort. My water was killing me, i switched to spring water for cloning & never had a problem since.

nutes question ,,are you in dirt or hydro? dirt has nutes already for a while for the plant, hydro start them on 1/4 strenght nutes after they have decent roots established.

let it consume the nutes in the soil , then start with light nutes every other watering, just look at your plant and see what it needs. less is more in the early stages, too easy to burn em up.
