Should clones that are in rock wool cubes sit in water? I'm having a hard time keeping them moist...

yeah you can keep them in a little water, the blocks take care of good air/water balance on their own. When you see rooting cool it on the water some though.
Id use distiled, but thats a personal choice of mine.

How long do you have to wait to be able to tell the sex of your plants so that you can clone your females?
the strain is blue berry and there about 3 and half weeks old.

Usually 2 months minimum, sometimes 3, you will see a little preflower on the stalk, if its a female it will look like a seed pod with 2 hairs coming out like on a real bud.
