Cloning?

I have a friend that is growing hydro. he wants to take clones off of these and asked me where to cut them from the plant. I told him that I take mine off the lower portion off the plant and someone else told him noooooooooooo! I've been doing it my way for years and never had any issues, good clone success in doing so. does anyone else have comments about where he should take them from. it's his weed, not mine, so any help to give him is greatly appreciated.

I cut them from the bottom, top, and the middle. They all clone for me.

that's my thought exactly, only I take from the lower part as bud generation is smaller than top or middle and they produce just as nice. Thanks Mama!
