Cloning with Lights on 18 hours off 6 hours?

Setting up a mothering\clone chamber but it's not done yet. I wanted to take some cuts tomorrow and put them in a humidity dome. I could just put them in my veg room for now in a spot that they won't get blasted with too much light, right?

Do you guys usually do lights on 24 hours for clones? I'll be using 600 watt lamp for the moms\clones with my humidity domes being on the floor furthest away from the light

clones grow best out of direct light so thats good. they need to be misted and the dome opened every day once a day. a heat pad is a good idea to put them on because roots grow toward heat. 18/6 light for them all the way through veg for as long as you veg.

cool... yeah I'm going to take my first batch of cuts tomorrow! Been growin for myself for a few years, can't wait to finally get control and keep my own genetics around!
