Cloning while Flowering and some other Q's.

1) Is it safe to clone parts of a plant that has been flowering for 5-6weeks? Wondering this because lower parts of the plant aren't getting as much light and thought it might be better to grow them seperately. If you did do this, where would you cut the part you want to clone and how long would it be before the clone is fully rooted and growing again?

2)Also, how big does a single bud grow? Never had any emperical experience to know, I understand everyone gets different results but what do most consider your average size? Could you make comparisons with everyday objects or even post a pic with a bud next to something like a coin or ruler.

3)I've heard that using brown sugar, honey or molasses helps flowering towards the end, does this mean putting sugar in the growing medium or do you make a sugar and water solution and water with this instead of plain water?

4)And finally, I kniow that the fan leaves are the largest leaves growing from the main stem but are the larger leaves growing on the branches also fan leaves and if they are would it be sensible to remove the main leaves because they block budding sites and keep all the leaves on the branches to keep the plant healthy?

when you clone during flowering, it usually has to revert back to veg. i dont think its reccomended
