cloning under actinic lights

Whats up fellow growers i just found this forum and im hoping that i can get some of my questions answered.
alright does anybody know about cloning or growing under actinic light bulbs or 50/50 bulbs? if so let me know i got ten clones i got under a 96 watt cfl daylight bulb and i want to throw an actinic under it to see if the leaves turn blue.

The blue lights are actinics. These are in the 420nm range.

I dont think the leaves will turn blue because of a light, but they certainly do not seem to mind the actinics.

those are the bulbs i got one daylight 10k bulb that is 3 feet long and i have a all blue actinic bulb. i was wondering if it would work. And how far under should i have my clones from the light?
And is it ok to flower under 2 250 watt metal halides they are kinda a blue spectrum 10,000k http://www.reeftanksupply.com/images/lamps-now_1909_14205496.gif

Yes, the white light is a 10k and the actinics are tru blu 3 lights. Those I would get close as possible without burning the plant, but the cloning needs I am not sure, never cloned. I did not have the two light strips on the previous grow and on this one the plant seems to be alot stronger, the 10k bulbs are now off and I am waiting on 3k lights to swap out with them.

are you using 3k for flower? or should i pick up some hps for flowering?

Yes, I am in flower now which is why I am swapping the 10k with 3k. I use floro's, but if you want to use hps go for it. I thought about using hid lights but it scares me putting those types of light in my box.

I know someone that uses it on sprouts it a 36watt 50/50 from an aquarium. And it works.
