Cloning Question

Hi first time growing. Found answers to most questions by reading here and there but one question I need answered. Right now I only have room for 4 plants. Money is tight right now. Can I take a couple clippings from each of the four at the end of veg without to much harm to the plant getting switched to flower? Or is it worth it to wait till I can build another box for a mother and clones. Really want to get started here.

Take as many cuttings as they'll give you... Do not cut off main stem growth tips if you are going 12/12 in the next 7 days. Your cutting should come from the main branches below the canopy, near the base of the plant. Many people do that instead of maintaining a mother plant... the only problem is if your cloner fails or spreads a bacteria to cuttings, your wiped out and have to start that strain from seed or take flowering cuts and hope for the best. They'll sometimes root, but damn that is a slow process to root flowering cuttings and then revert them to veg. Pick your best plant and take cuttings from it. Try to work one of those cuttings into a mother. After she saves you hundreds of dollars in seeds and weeks of veg time per year, you can shower her with affection on Mother's Day...

Yes!....do it... grow it.... and see! you can do pretty much what you want when it comes to cuttings/growing! long as they are a few inch long and put in an ideal environment, should root?
