how do i bring the humidity up in my dome. i have a heating pad the temp in side is around 80 but the humidity is around 42. i sprayed the lid with water and that didn't bring it up either. my clones are dying here

do you have them in a cabinet of some kind or just in a room? Try using a humidifier to bring the room RH up.

just give the plants and the inside of the lid and tray a real good misting and leave it with your heat mat on, should be fine mate just check on em regularly. Make sure you have trimmed any large leaves on the cuttings and this will just be losing more water than its taking in, also don't put your propagator under HID lamps or anything, clones need really low light levels like a couple of cfls or t5s. These are also real important factors to take into consideration!

i have them under a flo light that is only 8w I've been spraying the lid i also just added a lil bottle of water to see if it helps. i can't seem to get this clone thing going

If you sprayed inside the lid and it didn't bring it up i'd check it with another humidity gauge to make sure yours isn't faulty.

The way the clone is cut is crucial. There are many steps to the process and you may have screwed up early on. One common newbie mistake is to let the clone lay around and not make a second cut before placing in media. The cutting continues to transpire and sucks an air bubble into the stem...vapor lock!
Did you follow any formalized instructions?

Whoa shit, that clone is done...but do I see a happy seedling as well?.
Tough to tell from the fuzzy pic, but appears your clone never established any roots. This could be from your cloning medium being too heavy, as I do not see any perlite in that blend.
Try again using a lighter medium, and lower temp a bit down to 78.

i was using coco on this one and i had one in a jiffy thing. the clone is only 3 days old but it doesn't look good. i think ill start all over should i use soil that is for sprouting seeds?

i use coco to do my clones as well. when i clone, i use side branches about 5 inches tall , i strip everything about 2-3 inches below.. i skin 1-2 inches of the stem and cut another 45 degree . i dip in xnutrents clone gel and put in the coco. ive had 100% success doing this so far. yes im new at it but still none have died. i dont use no dome or anything just coco in a solo cup. are you using correct ph water? i use 5.8 ph water no nutes at all.
maybe i should add, im growing vertically bare bulb i just place the cups on the floor by my hempy buckets i use outside air to cool my room so it has little to no humidity... right now it says 20% humidity 78 degrees. thats with the fan on low. its 30 degrees out today.
can we see a pic of the plant you took the clone from? unhealthy mother means unhealthy offspring i would think.

i got my cutting from a plant that i have in flower cause thats a lli had to have a try at cloning. i have anther one that I've been growing from seed but its gonna be awhile till that ones is ready.
my water is phd good i have to use a ph down liquid to get it right. i think i might have got the soil wet with a bottle go water that had nutes in it. maybe i should just wait till my other plant is ready

it does take awhile for it to clone since its in flower. i wouldnt recommend doing it in flower. but it should still possible.. i would take another cutting ph the water correctly and you should root if you do everything else correctly.
