thats good, i mist my clomes like every 4 hours keeping them constantly moist and then i spray the side of the tray for extra moisture, 100% cloning rate for me.
Also if your heating mat is causing it to get crazy hot then id shut it off which i doubt its doing, you should be fine.

No need for the heat pad under the tray. Just make sure they have light, water and that the doom stays wet for the first week. After about 10 days you should have fully rooted clones. 100% clone rate for me as well.

Please give those cuttings some air. They do not need 100% humidity 24/7. Either set the lid askew an inch or lift it off for a minute several times a day. If those cuttings were all green when you took them, it looks like they're photosynthesizing now from too much light.

I think it was overkill....too much of a good thing, as the saying goes! I too am cloning 2 plants the first showed roots this am and the other I just checked and it has some out one side, all in all I only lost the one I figured it wouldn't survive but it was worth a try....lol I did all this without a heat mat but maintained a temp of about 80 most of the time and gave them 4-6 hrs of darkness I feel that helped alot, I now know I don't need the dome anymore, ty to the posters from this thread....was wondering if I could ditch it! Best of luck next time, don't give up keep on trying...and ph spring was what I feed them btw
