cloning lighting

when i cut my clone, should it be done early morning,late afternoon, or does it matter...? do i stick my clone right into 12/12 lighting or do i leave it 18/6 till it roots, dont roots grow faster in 12/12 lighting. thanx please any info
 
although that is completely possible you really don't wanna do that, you want the plant to build a good root system which in turn will produce the best the plant has to offer. The root system is the most important part of the plant and you want lots of healthy roots to absorb all the nutrients possible. If time is a factor then do it but I would let the lady veg in the sun on 18/6 for at least 8-10 days, you'll see a world of difference. and on another not you can also up your p-k levels to build a roots system quicker.
 
and try and keep your humidity level up to like 80-90% if possible
