Cloning in just perlite??

Out of curiosity has Anyone tried to take a clone using just perlite and skipping the whole root plug or cube all together? I pop seeds in just damp perlite... seems it would work to me... any input would be much appreciated

i've heard people have done it with much success. not something i'd do just cause i'm a noob but i'm sure if you have relative experience you could do it!

It works fine, like damn near every other cloning media...Heck people even use rice...I will stick to rapid rooters.Way less hassle.
