cloning half a plant HELP!!

I started flowering 15 days ago and I have 1 female and 1 male so I cut the male down and have room for another now. Can I clone the one female by cutting the plant almost in half? This way I have room to reveg while the clone is growing. The female has 3 colas so I was thinking about cutting one of the colas off to clone it and then LST the other 2 colas. Would the cola I cut off grow back just as if I had fimmed it? Thank you for any help!

i wouldnt try to clone it this far in... the plant will get pretty stunted and slow down growth for a few days/ maybe a week... Plus trying to root a flowering plant seems a little harder than just basic, normal cloning...

maybe try to take off the smallest, lowest branches and clone those

YES/NO Yes it is possible to root a LARGE cutting but it is much easier to root smaller cuttings from the newer growth.

If you started flower 15 days ago then they are just now showing sex, taking clones now is perfectly fine.
I have taken clones at 2, 4 and 6 weeks into flower. It took as many weeks to root and re-veg.
So taken at 2 weeks took 2 weeks to root.

Half the plant is not a good idea, If you take the two bottom grow tips and root/veg them for a month you could put them in there.

I don't understand. It seems you want to grow it (the clone) in the same area as your flowering plant, yet you talk about revegging...
I confuse

Half the plant will only root if the plant is very small. A flowering plant would be impractical to cut in half and clone.
