cloning a flowing mother

I want to clone one particular mother who just started flowering, is it to late?
Will this mess with the mothers/clones budding?
Should I bring the clone inside and run it on 12/12 light or leave it outside?

Not sure what exactly you are asking, but you can clone plants that are flowering. It just takes longer to root, and revert back to vegging.

You will just have to wait longer for the cuttings to root, but its no problem up to about 4 weeks into flower in my exp. The cuttings will smell very strong compared to ones taken from a mother in veg as well.
