From what I know of Biology (I was biology major for first year at a top scientific university) you will not LOOSE genetics... HOWEVER because you are not breeding with a full double set of alleles (citation needed lol) you don't have the chance to loose BAD genetics gained over the successive cloning spawns.
simplest example my intoxicated mind can think of to demonstrate this would be cancer in humans... if you cloned the same human over and over again it would always have the carcinogenic genotype however if this human bred with another human its offspring would have a different pairing across this 'bad' area of the double helix and therefore MOST likely not carry the same genetic fault.
I don't know if plants can pick up bad hereditary genetic faults, but if the can I would be a skeptic of the "cloning forever" approach.
I know someone who has been using the same clone for about 14 years and it is still as bomb as i remember when he first started. Afgani, He has gone with the mother plant way for while, changed to cloning off vegged plants before they go to flower. Didn't make any difference. Still just as potent.
looks like alot of people dont know the answer... Im sry im not a pro like you .. ya fruitcake.. if you dont wanna be nice to people go walk into oncomming traffic...
Dude, seriously what's your issue? The guy was just trying to get a question answered, why do you gotta go sniping at him like that? There are enough douche bags clogging up the threads with absolutely nothing to say. Be Unique and quit copying them. And have fun with your little CFL's mr. professional...
