here is some photos of my clones I took off some jock horror that was 8 weeks in to bloom.....they root just as fast as vegging clones and are healthy, only difference is they go through a funky reveg stage....but it makes them sprout tons of branches and they usually end up being heavy yielding plants...they took 8 days from taking cutting until transplanting, they are now 2 weeks old and already reverting back to veg and I already took clones from them as well last night, the clones I took from these reveg clones will be completely normal....
taking clones from flowering plants is not a problem at all.....I do it when I need to and don't even think twice...

as i was manicuring i kept looking at the buds thinking "i want more of this". so i just took some cuttings. took these last week from my jack herer......

LOL..that's exactly how it happens for me.....I don't take clones of a strain for some reason during veg...i guess it's one I'm not expecting much from..then after I flower I realize i really love this plant...so.....I take some bud clones...works every time..
...........I don't know why it's so frowned upon..it works exactly the same for me as normal cloning except for the weird single blade leaves that come at first for like a week, but it does not seem to slow things down at all, and the bonus is how bushy they get too...that book I sent you...from Rick..he takes all his clones that way...he loves taking flowering clones and swears by it...

fddk2 i have tried to do the same thing, did you cut just the buds off? there weren't many hairs showing on mine and it seems to be growing the same way . it is about 3 weeks old just transplanted. shit is taking its sweet time, but i don't i care if i takes for ever(sour diesel turned out perfect) . but it looks to still be flowering. here is a pic sorry for the shitty quality. do i just need to trim all the pistols or will they turn brown and i die the way i thought,
ps even though it is so short the root system is huge, had to transplant froma 20oz cup after about 10 days. no vertically grow except for the past 7-9 days.

PS in ur own experience how long does it take to stop growing like its handicap? and will that affect the quality of clones i pull of it?
ps even though it is so short the root system is huge, had to transplant froma 20oz cup after about 10 days. no vertically grow except for the past 7-9 days.

I agree. have some doing this right now, worse than yourse. One totally snapped out of it after 2 weeks, a few others are still doing it 5 weeks later....

interesting topic, Ive always wondered why you would clone a plant that you dont know the sex of. kinda pointless.
but i have problems with clones they dont root for me and die, any suggestions?
