Hi, couple questions: 1 what is the best way to start a clone off i.e taking your cutting then putting it in rockwool or soil or? 2 how long would a clone have to be in for till it could go back outside? 3rd and foremost how much could you expect of an outdoor clone?(ball park figure as obviously there are far too many variables for it to be precise) thanks for reading!

Well basically i will give u what i do, the clonex gel and solution are not necessary but will help your success rate. Take your cutting, must be new growth, aim for about 3 inches with at least one set of leaves. Cut using a STERILE (use hydrogen peroxide) razor blade or very sharp clippers and place DIRECTLY into a cup of water with the cut stem submerged. Remove a cutting, cut off about 1/2 to 3/4 of the leaves (the tip of the leaves), recut the base of the stem as close as possible at a slight angle, and dip the stem tip in Clonex Gel. Then put into rockwool cube that has been soaked in water with clonex solution or very light nutrients. Depending which rockwool cubes u are using, the kind i use i turn upside down and put the clones in the opposite side. When u put the stem into the rockwool be firm but careful, if the stem bends and cracks the cutting is dead and just toss it.

Place cubes in humidity dome with vents closed under a light source in a warm place.

The rockwool cubes will need to be kept wet. I recommend keeping the dome misted with water and the vents on the dome closed for the first couple days. Once there is significant root growth (can see the roots coming out of cube, approx a week) u can plant the whole cube into soil, i recommend a solo cup.

The length till it can go outside i don't know, i have never grown outdoors.

Not sure about what your third question is asking. You can expect the exact same from a clone as u got from her mama if they get the same nurture, they are genetically the same according to nature.
