cut the clone from just below the 3th or 4th intersectoin of new growth down your chosen branch (lower stems generaly make better clones for rooting . you can clone as soon as it has enough node points per stem.

how long will the clones be when cut your looking for 5-6 inch if its for production and not sexing for sexing it doesn't realy matter as you don't want it for bud.

To be honest all of the fancy stuff some people use isn't neccessary, sure it helps but not neccessary. The only real requirements are that light does not get to the roots, they get 18-24 hours of light, and mist them 1-2 times a day until they root (since they have no roots to get water from whatever medium you have them in). Cloning gel, humidity domes, cloning machines, etc. aren't required but may increase your chances.

I took 3 clones recently and put them in 16oz cups with duct tape around the outside o the cup to block light. Threw them in my veg room with a 600W MH and all 3 of them rooted in less than 5 days. Admittedly I seem to have the green thumb gift, as all three of the plants I put down turned out to be female as well.
