Clones & Such

Okay, I made a nimrod move, started clones (first time) without having a good light source, it's just a regular ole workshop light, two bulbs.

Here is my question, can I leave the clones under the workshop light for 12 hours, then move them to my tent for 12 hours under a 600hps? Would this stress them in any way? See I currently have some flowering in the tent....

One last thing, once my clones are showing roots can I take the dome off? Thanks!!!! THANKS!!!! THANKS!!!!

You don't need much light at all until they root. You want them to focus their energy on rooting, not growing, which is what more light will make them want to do. And yes, once roots show u can take off the dome. The dome is to keep moisture in so they can absorb it, since they can't take in any from their nonexistent roots.

I see, thank you. But they have rooted.... I normally veg with a 400mh (ballast is switchable) So you don't think leaving them under the old shop light won't cause them to stretch a whole lot? 12hrs shoplight 12hrs 600hps??

Has no one ever been in this situation?

Aye, I can't right now, ya know this economy is turning me into an alcoholic.... I guess I could build a shelf and SOG those bastards as soon as they're ready. Orrrrrrrr I could leave them under the shitty two tubs worshop light until they grow a bit..... Then just pop'em into flower... OORRR I could just do what I orgianlly posted, just move them back and forth until my others are done.
