does how often u spray a clone have anything to do with how long it takes them to root ive misted my clones maybe twice over about a week and ahalf yesturday i transplanted one onto a dif pot and i looked to check for roots and nothing sept the white of the rooting hourmone

Question for ya: What medium are you trying to root your clones in?

I would advise you to not mess with em/transplant...etc until you see solid root growth. As pandabear said...it may take 2 weeks..or more...espcially if the conditions aren't just right. After that..the success rates go way down from my experience...and if I personally don't see roots in 2 weeks I consider it to be a failure. From experience, anyhting that takes that long will be slow to go if they ever take off at all. The only exception to the 2 week rule here is if it is a rare plant or something I dearly want to rescue/save. Otherwise..if it's just a regular run...I will re-cut my clones after 2 weeks and start over. "Something" went wrong. (I usually see roots in a week)

Oh..and to answer your question...I don't poersonally spray my clones. I "dome" them and let them be.
Many people believe that spraying gives the plant what it needs..and thus..it doesn't go into survival mode and program itself to make roots as quickly.

Bottom line...the longer it takes to root..the higher the chance of failure.

I hope you have success. I've never tried cloning outdoors.

watch for stem rot. Other than that..you should be seeing some action soon.

I have a clone that showed sex 2 days after it was cut, I was like how the hell? A day later I re-cut all my clones and took them from RW to soil, the one that showed didn't even have any roots.
