Clones ready when to start flowering?

Hi guys clones are going into tent tomorrowtomorrow I'm planning on 2 weeks veg at 18-6 then swapping 12-12 but when shud I top?

as soon as i see 3 nodes, branches, I top and let them do their thing for 2 more weeks and then into flower.

So I got a main stem then when there's 3 branches off that main stem I can top from them right?
