Clones not looking so great....

This is my first grow and right now I am 5 weeks into budding. I have one NYC Diesel plant that is already looking amazing and i wanted to clone it. I know your supposed to clone in veg state but I had no options. I read on the forum that they will still work but it will just take them some time to switch back into veg state. Its now been about a week and a half and most of the leaves have fallen off. I am starting to get kinda worried. I decided to sacrifice one plant and pull it out of the dirt to see what was going on and little roots are there. Should i be concerned or just wait out the storm???
Thanks for the help!

mine looked like that, all the leaves dried up so it was a stub then the stub turned real deep green and started sprouting.

GASP... please tell me you have heat pad under there... and get that of the cold hard wood floors... your peats are to wet let dry out, trim all the curled up dying leaves.... once the pucks have dried out a little, gently lift up on the clones to see if they pull the peat up with it... a week and half they should be able too.
