clones not growing roots

my problem is that my clones are not growing roots,there not dying but they arent growing roots and they are starting to turn yellowish .i have them in a 7" dome under a 1000 watt high pressure sodium light 16 hrs a day with a tray heater under it. they are about 2 weeks old and nothing. the room is about 76 degress with the light on and 74 with the light off and its not too warm in the tray. i have only been giving them water ,no nutes and misting them 1-3 times a day .its driving me crazy ,btw i used shultz root starter, its worked very well for me before (maybe its too old and not working) any comments ? please help .dont let my babies die.

im thinkin to much or too intense light. i only use flourescents and they work fine roots in like 9 days

you should never clone using hps...any cheap florescent light would work...just use the same setup but use a flor light

clones also need 24 hrs of light mate

No keep them on 18/6 if they where your kids would u want them up 24/7??
