Clones in trouble?

This is actualy to help my mom who grows to help with the kemo and sickness. She had her clones nicely in her bubble cloner. I was over at her house helping her because she said" there looking sick ? So having a look I could see they had been nute burned pretty bad and the stagnit nute solution/water had a slime feel. The color is this neon green above but the roots are white and plenty . So what I did was I had to drain out the tub and then I washed off the roots and they got even more white . Then I mixed up a dilution of foxfarm big bloom and hygrozyme then ph to 6.0 . Then I realy went to town on cutting out any dead leaf as well as cut a few in half to stop veging? Anyways now she tells me there getting a darker shade of green finaly but the leaf is starting to curl? Are these done with or could they turn out being ok? Any info on this sort of thing is helpfull.

You have to let the roots recover before you add back normal nutrients. 1/4 of normal strength is my approach, then I watch the plants and increment up the solution again. Also I would recommend backing the lights off while the roots are in recovery. You will stimulate new growth without supporting roots and compound your problem.

P.S. I don't use this bubble cloner

Yes I agree to what your saying that's why I used big bloom at 1/2 strenght because it's more a natural cleaner than nutes. It's what fox farm uses as there binder in there feeding chart. And then I don't know if your familiar with hygrozyme but it's a real good organic waist cleaner for roots and helps with taking in nutes especially nitrogen wich seems to be the tuff one ?

I suggest you don't use any nuts in cloning. none. only when you have transplanted to soil or hydro with roots should that be considered. Most every problem is overdoing something, water, nut, etc. I spent almost nothing for a perfect cloner. Veg. department the plastic container used for salads in the grocery store. mist the clones first 3 days and only mist the walls not plants after that point. otherwise the leafs start to yellow and die. about 2 weeks 100% success rate. Oh, $1 white paint to paint the bottom walls and cut up strips 3/4 inch deep gride for a bottom and put a 1/4 inch water on bottom. This allows the roots to reach for water. smoothly move the water each day one time to get some oxygen to the bottom water. No need for a $200 cloner. I can do 6 to 9 at a time.

lastly, after cloning with root gel do not move the clone. If you do the rooting will break and stop/die in most cases. Just watch for roots to come out of the bottom

There my mothers and she has these clones siting in just water and 1/4 strenght big bloom, and hygrozyme because there's about a foot of root coming out of each one. I know transplant them already right. Well I guess she wants to Waite till the ones in flower are done. Only a few days away. The problem was she started to soon not thinking there would be roots that fast. So I'm just trying to help her. My setup at my house is buitiful and trouble free. Thank you guys for your suport!!! I love RIU

ok, now i see. she is ready to transplant but your keeping them in clone for lack of space. Learning curve. With roots showing like you mentioned transplant asap. If she uses soil transplant to soil in smaller pots till room opens or struggle thru the cloning for longer period (big leafs may die but as long as new growth is showing your ok)...good luck.

reminder that as long as roots are showing thru clone/rockwool your ready to transplant. leaving longer stresses plants......

ya there gonna be ok the curling is from all the cutting and stress its had.
somtimes you wanna leaves the leaves because there is still nutrients in them
