Clones in Aerogarden???

I recently got an aerogarden elite and plan on starting my first grow soon. I wanted to know if i could start with clones rather than seeds though. Has any one tried this? What do I have to do/know??

yes u can start with seeds, in fact, id recommend it over seeds, ull save weeks of time and know they are female fo sho.
 
I have my MMJ CA Card, so I was planning on buying the clones from a club. What would be the process for getting them into the aerogarden? Would this be easy?

i havent done clones yet, but im gonna for my next grow. its seems pretty obvious, all youd do is cut the sponge halfway through and put the clone int there with roots down and stem up.
 
I see, Thanks for the help, that makes sense to me. Are you going to try just one clone or multiple when you do it?

Got the clones today and all setup; heres what the setup looks like. This is my first grow so if you have any suggestions let me know. Thanks for all the help so far.

Lookin good man,t hats perfect, what kind of clones? how much were they? i might wanna get some for my next grow, you gonna have a space for them to sit in while its on 12/12? maybe make a grow box
 
whats a grow box? I have alot of vertical height in my grow space as you can see in the third pic. (I have at least another foot or more of space than the picture shows) The clones are both Ogre, an Indica Dominant, and they were $15 each.
 
well i meant a box to cover them up when the lights are off, during the 12/12 cycle, but im sure you got a light proof area, thats good man, 15 is legit, good lucc man, cant wait to see how they turn out
 
good luck with your first grow im going to be starting mine here pretty soon. that is a good price for clones i know someone that wanted to sell me a clone of silver haze for $50 so i just order some lowryder seedsbongsmilie
 
If you look at the first pic I posted on my setup you can see 2 or 3 pretty prominent leaves at the base of the clone on the right. Here are the images of that one now. I have been running them under the aerogarden light only, because after a couple hours the CFLs looked like they might have been too much for them. It looks a little better today, but that bottom node has noticeably withered. Additionally, two of the leaves on the top have gotten darkened tips and are turning over. Do I have any reason to be worried/any adjustments to make? Thanks for the help Sicc.
