I took clones off my clones at week 4.5 , .5 weeks after a I switched to 12/12. used rootech and got all 18 to live just fine. I put em in 1 inch rockwool. I used clonex for the first week of life then switched to the technaflora recipe for transplants for 1/2 a week then used 1/4 strength nutes. they are all growing great and about 8 inches tall. I found it easier to take the smallest clone I could. I used what the guy on the video "i grow chronic" said as a guide. look on you tube. my plants were almost 3 feet high when i cloned em. I havnt trimmed my plants at all. I kinda figure they know when the bottom leaves are ready to go. my grow is very crowded. 18 plants in a 5 x 12 area. 3 600 w lights keep fans on the bottom as you want tons of air circulation. fans on top also.

You need at least internodes. You would want to clone above the 2nd one at the earliest. I usually let mine get at least 5 or 6, sometimes more. The longer you wait, the more you can take at once, which is going to raise your odds of survival, and also give you a selection.

from seed it SHOULD be 2 months old. this ensures no stress or passing of unwanted traits. i think people who grow to smoke tend to overlook this alot...
from clone it should be at least a foot in height before clones are taken.(this is to ensure veg state is in full kick)
